Due to back surgery, I needed this to help with dressing. Very pleased with it. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the sharpness of the hooks. A little too much pressure and you will put a hole in your clothes. Great for shoes and sock removal. Update 1/11/2018 - The tool has held up very well. I use it every day and have not had any problems with it
While it may be obvious to order a reacher grabber (like the ABO Gear rotating reacher grabber) this tool has been just as indispensable! One end has 2 different size hooks and an oval that confounds me, the other end has a notched shoehorn that has been remarkably useful. If you temporarily cannot stoop or bend, little things like socks and shoes become major hurdles. The plastic hook on a stick can snag scrub pants and lift them to within reach. The shoe horn on a rigid stick is a brilliant tool and makes house slippers or loafers a breeze post op. One can tenuously pull on loose socks with a reacher grabber and patience, but I was able to push down Ted stockings with the notch and then lever them over the heel with the shoehorn. Not the greatest achievement of my life but very likely in the top ten! The sturdy plastic hook ends can pull a drink closer but are strong enough to pull a chair or table closer, too. I can also wave it at the chihuahuas and they listen a lot better. That is miraculous... Get one of these. I think it will surprise you.
