Finally getting a good nights sleep.

I love this blanket support. I put it together myself with no problem. I finally get a good nights sleep. I have rls and don’t want to take medicine. I put it towards the bottom of bed on the side. I have extra long twin mattress so that’s what I did to make it work. I put a heavy blanket on side opening to block air from getting in. The only improvement the manufacturer could make is making the screws longer so it would fit tighter.

Sturdy, strong, tall, and easy to assemble

There's nothing physically wrong with me or my feet, but the blankets weighing my feet down were uncomfortable for many years. I had been using pillows to lift the covers up, more or less unsuccessfully, until I got this. What a godsend. I saw the wire versions, and thought that they may not be sturdy enough for heavy blankets, quilts, etc, so I bought this one. So strong, love it. Easy to assemble and adjust. I have a 16" thick mattress, and it.fits between the mattress and the box springs. I don't have it as tall as it can be and I sleep with my feet on a latex pillow, and still have lots of room above my toes (size 8.5 feet), so no blanket is touching my princess and the pea toes. I put extra blankets over the top so my toes stay warm. What a wimp I am, but heck, I am what I am, and I need my sleep. My bed looks strange, like there's a box under the covers, but it doesn't interfere when making the bed, as I thought it might.

    Supports all my blankets easily

I haven't used a blanket support before but I *love* this one! The frame is supporting the weight of 1 sheet, 2 microfibre blankets and one polyester duvet. I arranged to have an extra-long sheet for my bed so I'm able to tuck the sheet right around the frame so that there are no drafts. Then, I'm draping the rest on top of the frame. My feet are warm. I haven't whacked my toes on the frame (I have an 80" long bed). I'm so happy to have the heavy weight of the duvet off my feet. I can fall asleep much faster because I'm comfortable.

Hard to find blanket lifters, but the best!! I just don't like the pressure on my feet, extending them. I have Plantar Fasciitis and I don't like the extension of my feet at night, and prefer a more 90 degree position of my feet, not 130 degree. I looked at other units, cheaper, and they were just not good quality, and had to return, but this one is GREAT!! We have a very thick mattress (13") and needed more height than others could provide. In addition, the other one had some thumb nut screws that would slide with pressure, making it useless (sent back, still waiting on a credit btw). This one, on the other hand, it built very well, sturdy, easy to put together, and easy to adjust. That being said you will need either a small open end wrench (preferred) or pair of pliers to hold the nut while tightening with a Phillips head screwdriver. They have a nice inset on the side for the nut (inside) and only has 4 nuts and bolts for assembly - takes about 5 minutes. I grade the instructions a D, as the description and pictures not linked well. They should show better close-up pictures of the assembly. I actually prefer the large nuts to the inside, although they show them to the outside. My instincts said inside, and it has absolutely no effect on the function. So while they have some very nice written instructions, and it show the basic assembly on how it fits together, not a typical step by step with photos linking the instructions. That being said, anyone with a modicum of common sense can put this together. I placed it under the mattress, adjusted and had a great night sleep. I love this unit and it is the ONLY one I would purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you need one for a thick mattress.

Heavy duty, well worth the cost.

I am so glad that I invested in this blanket support. I was having so much trouble with heavy blankets causing me to lose sleep at night. My lower legs tend to get warm much too easily when I need the extra blankets in the winter. If I kick my feet out from under the covers I can end up with charlie horses that are very painful. This is the solution that I needed. It keeps my legs warm without being overheated and keeps heavy blanket pressure off my skin as well. I picked up some small C clamps to hold the blankets in place by clamping them around the tubing just above the mattress. This keeps the blankets from sliding around and leaving gaps for air to come in.
